Presenters:

  • John Leonardini (Nimble Storage)

    • Artist, scholar, and soldier of fortune, John Leonardini is the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for Engineering for his work developing the world’s first all-electric powered airplane.  After a tragic miscalculation in extension cord length ended that project, he moved onto the exciting world of high tech, working to rid social networks of lame Java plugins...an effort that, up to now, has been largely unsuccessful.  He also gets a thrill when writing about himself in the third person...
  • Olivier Rossi (Veeam Software)

    • With 20 years of IT experience and a strong background in Software Defined Storage, Hyper-Converged systems and Virtualization, Olivier has been focused on assisting Partners and Customers in building more efficient and Highly Available Data-Centers.  Prior to joining Veeam, Olivier worked 1 ½ year at Atlantis Computing helping to launch their Hyper-Converged all-flash appliance and support their Hyper-Converged SDS enabling customers to drastically reduce their Data-Center footprint.  Olivier also spent 15 years at DataCore Software as a Senior Solutions Architect evangelizing Software Defined Storage allowing customer to leverage their existing storage platform and build Highly Available storage infrastructure for mission critical businesses.  As a Certified DataCore trainer, he was also responsible for Partner and Customer enablement and drove most of DataCore's 3rd party vendor qualification testing.  Native French, Olivier is a graduate of “Ecole pour les Etudes et la Recherche en Informatique Electronique” with a Master of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his family, trail running and riding his Suzuki C90T along the California coast.
