VMware Cloud on AWS Community

A very hearty hello to all VMUG members. As valued members of the VMware User Group community, we are always looking for ways that we can provide more benefit to you through programs, free trials, webinars and more.

We are excited to announce the new VMware Cloud on AWS VMUG community! This community will have resources for you to learn more about VMware Cloud on AWS, videos, FAQ, and more. We are excited for you to join us in this space and hope that you will become an active community member here as well.

Last year Raghu Raghuram, Chief Operating Officer, VMware, announced that VMUG would receive access to VMware Cloud on AWS. His announcement came mere days after VMware announced the offering as being available. Now that we have released our single-node offering, we are ready to help you get your hands dirty!

Announcing Contest for One Month of free Single-Host SDDC

We would very much like for VMUG members to explore the Single-Node VMware Cloud on AWS offering.  In fact, we are running a contest for free access to a Single-Host SDDC for one month!   The winners will receive one month of free VMware Cloud on AWS Single-Node usage and will be able to learn the ins and outs of the offering. They will also receive an eval guide that will help them to quickly jumpstart their journey into hybrid cloud. All you need to do is become a member of the VMware Cloud on AWS VMUG Community, and fill out the contest form.  We will select a limited number of winners out of the entrants.
We hope that the winners will use their time and experience in the offering to also blog and tweet about the experience as they go and hope to feature one of the winners in an upcoming VMUG article.

We will be selecting new winners monthly over the upcoming months so stay tuned! In the meantime, come join us in the VMware Cloud on AWS VMUG Community.
