Been in computing since the Radio Shack TRS-80 days. Had an Atari ST with 8086 hardware emu card, learned PC-DOS, then got into Novell 3.1 - all in high school. Spent a year in W Texas college - when CompSci was still assembly, Fortran and punchcards. Came back home and started a sysadmin position and learned NT, TCPIP, routing, Novell migrations, SQL Server, Citrix, AD. Then outsourcing provider where I use GSX Server and then became a Unix sysadmin. Did Unix for 5 years for 2 companies, heavy on Linux on VMware, then landed with consulting company with a focus on Data Center. I do backup, storage, server and networking for most DC technologies. Long history of support and have touched almost all aspect of enterprise computing.
